RESPONSIBILITIES

• Measure and cut wire/cable ensuring great quality
• Verify all equipment is in safe working condition and calibrated as required
• Verify and package product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Stage product for loading
• Load product onto truck
• Unload materials from truck
• Move materials to warehouse for storage
• Move waste to dumpsters
• Responsible for quality. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged material is accepted in
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) i.e. - forklifts, walkie stackers, etc.
• Clean and maintain work areas
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience and/or training in the electrical field is a plus
• Familiarization of electrical materials, specifically the different types and sizes of electrical wire
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small parts

• Ability to constantly exert physical force (pushing, pulling, squeezing, etc.)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (you will be on your feet for 95% of your shift)
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds

ENVIRONMENT

• Long and varied hours required occasionally
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environment
• Ability to work in dusty conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
