Warehouse Warrior

Inventory Management:

The Warehouse Warrior at Simply Fresh Events is responsible for efficiently maintaining the flow of products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy in packing, and supporting the overall logistics operations of the company. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the catering team. #TEAMWORK

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory in the correct spots.
• Rotate stock and ensure the timely disposal of expired or damaged items.

Order Fulfillment:

• Pick and pack orders according to pack list requirements.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and catering staff to ensure accurate and timely event information
• Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.

Quality Control:

• Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing products.
• Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the supervisor.

Warehouse Organization:

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.
• Optimize warehouse layout for efficient product storage and retrieval.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Equipment Operation:

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Backing up/ driving trucks and vans.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the food or catering industry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

The Warehouse Associate will primarily work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures. This role may require occasional weekend or evening work based on business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
