Job Summary:
Performs a variety of routine activities in support of the Rapid Site Deployment (RSD) team. Responsible for the shipping and receiving of Clinic in a Box (CIB) sets and Information Technology (IT) Go Boxes. Orders and maintains inventory of needed supplies and equipment. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide logistical support to the RHRP team.
- Responsible for coordination of shipping and receiving complete material sets and IT equipment to event sites including tracking and stocking of supplies as needed.
- Order and maintain all RHRP supply inventories including completion of inventory sheets before shipping, inventory returning and restock and build kits as necessary.
- Perform operational checks on equipment to ensure functionality.
- Process claims with shippers on damaged/missing shipments in a timely manner.
- Track and analyze missed shipments to ensure they do not occur again.
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer to appropriate personnel if unable to handle.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Competencies:
- Ability to move containers with wheels up to 120 lbs
- Knowledge of electronic shipping (e.g., FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Excellent customer service, organization and follow-through skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to excel at details, multi-task, and work with a high sense of urgency
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be self-motivated
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of office equipment (Fax, Printer, Copier, etc.)
Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)
- High School diploma, or GED
- 3 to 5 years of related shipping and receiving experience, Medical logistics experience preferred
- Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background
