If so, we are looking for you to join our exceptional team as a Warehouse Associate and Back up driver in East Petersburg, MA!
Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4pm. No weekends
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Complete warehouse tasks including delivery loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging of inventory, and will call orders
- Doing local deliveries in a company truck when needed as a back up driver: Loading, transporting, unloading building materials, fasteners, tools, concrete supplies to local jobsites, vendors
- Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.
- Compare and reconcile system inventory levels against physical count of stock.
- Maintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
- Follow Company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
- Receive and fill inventory orders for customers.
- Operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- DOT Medical Card Required (Testing to be Scheduled if Needed)
- Must have a good driving record and valid U.S Driver's license
- Meet the Minimum Qualifications – You have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably in the industrial supply field with a High School Diploma or GED.
- Meet the Physical Demands – You’re able to lift at least 50 to 100 Lbs. on regular and occasional basis.
- Are Already Forklift Certified – if not, no worries - we will get you trained and certified!
- Focus on the Details – You’re organized, highly efficient and able to pull needed products error-free
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment – You’re able to work in an active environment where you are constantly moving.
- Remain Calm Under Pressure – You are able to multi-task with a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment by staying calm and focused and take accountability for your work.
- Frequent lifting to 90 lbs.
- Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading merchandise and tying down product
- Frequent use of foot/feet to operate foot pedals on trucks
- Exposure to loud noise, dust, gas, and/or fumes
