Responsibilities:
Lift Truck Operation
- Daily safety checks of lift truck /sign off
- Operate lift truck to put away large/heavy parts in designated areas
- Operate lift truck to load completed, crated ovens onto shipping truck
- Operate a pallet jack to move heavy items as needed
Outgoing finished product:
- prepare/cut crating materials
- Package/crate finished ovens
- Load crated ovens onto delivery truck at time of shipping
- Picking/packing/shipping spare parts orders
- Picking/packing/shipping replacement parts orders
Incoming parts:
- Receive incoming shipments
- Physically count/verify receipts against purchase order. Document discrepancies.
- Put away incoming parts into designated storage location(s)
- Identify any parts below minimum inventory quantities established
- Physically cycle count parts on established cycle.
Support Production Operators
- Ensure stock bins are always stocked for Production
- Prepare kits of parts for subassembly production for Production Operator
- Dispose of cardboard and packing material
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness/keep floor clean
Skills:
- Licensed forklift operator or willing/able to become licensed
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) communications skills
- Basic math and counting skills
- Ability to lift boxes up to 50 lb
- Strong organizational skills to keep track of inventory locations/levels
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
