Warehouse Shipping Lead 21/Hr - Full Time W/Benefits

We are looking for a motivated, high energy person to organize and lead our outbound order fulfillment. This is a fast-paced position that requires the ability to delegate work and forecast with a high level attention to detail. The successful applicant must have prior experience distributing and monitoring work completion, preferably in a distribution environment.
Job Duties:

• Print and manage orders from our system and assign out to pickers

• Understand order fulfillment flow and move labor resources around to meet shifting priorities and demand
• Hands-on approach and competence performing all warehouse functions
• Inventory research and troubleshooting issues in our Inventory Management System
• Inspect outbound equipment orders using a total quality checklist
• Follow and enforce standard operating procedures for all processes and policies
• Picking and assembling customer orders
• Utilize technological resources daily (iPod scanners, desktop computer, email, order and inventory systems)
• Ownership over freight line organization and on-time shipping
• Communicate with freight carriers, forecasting capacity needs throughout the day
• Loading outbound shipments onto trailers
• Continuous training of associates on fulfillment-related processes

Requirements

• Consistent punctuality and strong attendance

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Independently
• Intermediate computer navigation proficiency (Typing: 30 WPM)
• Experienced sit-down propane forklift experience ( >1 year)
• Able to handle stress
• Process-oriented
• Problem-solving skills
• Great team player
• Able to multi-task across multiple functions simultaneously
• Excellent vision and hearing
• Must have a strong work ethic - you are leading the pack and therefore your personal work ethic must be above and beyond always
• Must be available to work mandatory overtime
• High School Diploma
• Clean background check
• Clean drug screen

• Current with COVID vaccinations
