Tape measurement reading skills are a plus.

Job description

General Laborer

· Our facility is a medium/ heavy industrial environment and IS NOT climate controlled; those who are opposed to working in the natural environment conditions of Arizona generally are NOT strong candidates for production/ manufacturing positions.

```Duties:```
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents and ensuring they are in good condition
- Unpack and properly store received items in designated locations
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to order specifications
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Operate material handling equipment such as order pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

```Qualifications:```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field preferred
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as order pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing duties
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
