The basic function of this position is to select products from pick slot locations for shipment to customers safely operating a battery-powered pallet jack.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive orders and accurately select items for shipment
- Enter all assignments into WIN computer system
- Place selected items on pallets with the heaviest items on the bottom when possible to avoid damage
- Drop completed pallets at correct location for Loader
- Shrinkwrap pallets when complete for shipment stability and damage control
- Safely operate a battery-powered pallet jack
- Safely lift up to 80 pounds
- Must be able to understand and speak English for voice selection system
- Must be able to read English for product descriptions/labels
- Able to follow instructions and adhere to preferred work methods and safety rules
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.67 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
