SalaryPosition Summary
Perform Shipping and Receiving support duties in the Chemical Distribution Center (CDC) area at an industrial manufacturing facility in Essex Junction. We have the following work schedules available:
- Sunday - Thursday, 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Tuesday - Saturday, 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Schedule flexibility is available to allow for late truck deliveries and holiday coverage. This is a full-time temporary job.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Complete all required safety training and follow all Fluor and client safety requirements
- Wear required PPE at all times while at the work site
- Perform receiving duties - daily trucks & shipments
- Ship chemicals & waste as required
- Stock incoming gas cylinders and stage for delivery
- Stock incoming chemicals and stage for delivery
- Complete training and then complete daily CDC inspections
- Perform general housekeeping duties as needed
- Complete Hazmat training as required (to be provided at work site)
- Complete fork truck training as required (to be provided at work site)
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Experience: 1 year warehouse, shipping and/or receiving experience desired
- Fork truck experience a plus
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to complete heavy physical labor (pushing, pulling, lifting objects up to 40 lbs.) is required
