As a sorter in Retail Rebel’s Big Side Processing department, you will be one of the first to identify products for retail stores, auction, and eCommerce sites. This is a fast paced, quality_ and_ quantity driven position that excels in detail and consistency.
Duties and Essential Job Functions:

• Sort and/or process general merchandise
• Accurately identify condition, and value of goods
• Work in a fast-paced environment meeting production standard
• Communicate with team and leaders for department needs and process improvement
• Attend daily morning huddles to identify top priority tasks
• Manage trash and cardboard
• Maintain a clean, safe, and secure warehouse environment
• Other supportive duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse work setting
• Prolonged standing and/or sitting for duration of shift
• Potential use of merchandise equipment such as box cutters, bin containers, two-wheel dollies, and pallet jacks
• Proper lifting up to 30 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.

Salary Description
$15.75 - $18.27/ hour
Requirements:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Operation of a pallet jack and other material handling equipment; not required, but expected to learn.
• Working knowledge of general retail merchandise types and values.
