Job Summary Warehouse Picker
A Warehouse Picker’s primary responsibility is to pick orders using a voice automated headset and electric pallet jack/walkie rider efficiently and accurately. Must be able to work in fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products by matching numbers and product descriptions using voice audio headset
- Hand stack cases in defined pattern of product weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively from floor to pallet jack/walkie rider throughout the duration of the shift
- Shrink wrap customers’ orders and label pallets properly
- A Warehouse Picker must maintain a minimum standard of 180 cases picked per hour.
- Strive to have no pick errors
- Operate layer picker lift when needed.
- Restock using computerize RF unit.
- Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment
- Pickers must be able to stand for long periods of time, able to bend and reach overhead.
- Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must be able to work in multi-temperature environments
- Technology skills a must as the picker will be working with RF Guns and IPADS
- Basic math and analytical skills required
- Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs. and be able to fulfill other physical requirements including: Repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs overhead), bending, pulling/pushing (Push/pull up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler)
