Warehouse Order Selector - 2Nd Shift - $19.40/Hr

Behler-Young is seeking 2nd ShiftWarehouse Order Selectors for our distribution center in Brighton!

• 2nd Shift operates from 5:30 pm-finish. Shifts are 8-12 hours, Monday-Friday (occasional Saturday, but mainly voluntary)
• Starting pay is $19.40 (including 65 cent shift premium)
• Located at 7734 Lochlin Dr, Brighton, MI 48116

Warehouse Order Selector Responsibilities include:

• Pick, pack, and label products for shipment in accordance with customer requirements. Ensure all orders and products are error/damage-free prior to staging.
• Convey products picked to a staging area in preparation for inspection.
• Load assigned trucks following established truckload profiles, and Load Coordinator directions.
• Provide backup for other general warehouse work as required, including but not limited to receiving and locating stock.

Qualified Warehouse Order Selector candidates will have:

• Experience or willingness to learn in a pick/pack or loading dock environment.
• Ability to work 5:30 pm until the finish.
• Ability to become Behler-Young Hi-Lo/Forklift certified.
• Detail-oriented, with proven problem-solving abilities and basic math skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with others.
• Proven history of acceptable attendance and dependability.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk/twist/climb for long periods of time.
