Duties & Responsibilities: Hours 7am - 3:30pm (Occasional OT)
- Pick retail orders using voice pick technology (in English). Verify picked orders for accuracy using an RF Gun for scanning bar codes and entering the pallet weight
- Order will be single bottle or case quantity of products.
- Wrap pallets using stretch wrap machine
- Meet or exceed performance goals
- Use forklift to load orders on the correct delivery trucks
- Follow KY Eagle suppliers’ recommendation guidelines for product freshness and adhere to the “first in, first out” policy for product placement
- Keep warehouse area clean
- Follow all KY Eagle safety and work policies
Requirements:
- 1 year of warehouse package handling or order picking experience preferred
- 1 year experience with Class III Material Handling Experience (Forklift / Walkie Rider) preferred
- Experience using RF scanners and voice pick technology preferred
- Voice or paper picking experience preferred
- 18 years of age or older (will be handling alcoholic beverages)
- Experience working for a wholesaler or beverage distribution company preferred.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, lift including above shoulder level and carry 25lb cases of product on regular basis.
- Ability to repetitively lift a minimum of 25 pounds
- Strong focus on attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- This candidate must be able to read and comprehend verbal commands (in English)
