Warehouse Order Fulfillment Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Order Fulfillment/Packaging Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping customer orders while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Order Processing: Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently using order management systems.
2. Picking and Packing: Pick items from inventory based on customer orders and pack them securely for shipping, ensuring that products are well-protected and presentable.
3. Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damages before packaging to maintain high-quality standards.
4. Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels, report discrepancies, and assist in regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records.
5. Packaging Materials: Ensure an adequate supply of packaging materials is available and report any shortages to the supervisor.
6. Shipping: Prepare shipping labels, select appropriate shipping methods, and arrange for the timely dispatch of packages via various carriers.
7. Timely Shipments: Meet daily shipping deadlines and ensure timely delivery of orders to customers.
8. Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate Order Fulfillment activities.
9. Safety: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
10. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipped orders and report any issues or discrepancies to the relevant department.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in Order Fulfillment, packaging, or a related field is preferred.
3. Attention to Detail: Ability to notice and address small details to ensure accuracy in order processing and packaging.
4. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy packages, and perform repetitive tasks.
5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
6. Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with colleagues.
7. Basic computer skills: Proficiency in using order management and inventory tracking systems.
8. Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
9. Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to Order Fulfillment and packaging.
10. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
