Warehouse Operator - Heavy Equipment Pst

Position Description:

• Responsible for the safe, efficient and quality-conscious unloading and loading of bulk commodities from vessels and rail cars in to storage facilities, and from storage facilities in to vessels
• Assure the work being performed consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of the supervisor as well as published policies and procedures.
• Perform general duties in all areas of operations of the terminals, including cleaning, routine inspections, loading trucks with a front end loader, weighing trucks, manual labor tasks, and other duties as needed.
• Adhere to all KMT policies and procedures.
• Participate in daily Safety Talks and other safety functions.
• Work in a safe, efficient and quality conscious manner.
• Report all incidents and near misses.
• Upkeep of assigned equipment or tools.
• Must take direction from supervisors, and work cooperatively with others.
• Arrive for work as scheduled and be ready to perform assigned tasks.
