Rochester Midland Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Operator for their Aurora, IL facility. The Warehouse Operator, under moderate supervision, picks and prepares orders for shipping using a Radio Frequency (RF) device, loads and unloads trucks, and adheres to warehouse procedures and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Load and unload carrier vehicles receiving/delivering goods and materials for the warehouse, ensuring correct item counts per supplier packing list and BOL
- Operate forklift in multi-level racking system
- Customer order processing using RF device- pick, palletize and shrink wrap items for shipping using proper procedures for weight and hazards
- Locate, condense and maintain product in storage areas per RF device in a neat and orderly fashion
- Maintain safety awareness in and around work areas, observe and report potential areas of concern, and wear/use appropriate safety equipment
EDUCATION/ SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years sit down forklift experience
- 2 years warehouse/shipping experience in manufacturing environment
SKILLS:
- Strong ability to read and comprehend English
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Ability to problem solve
- RF scanning device knowledge preferred but not necessary
- Basic computer knowledge
