Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) at Iron Mountain is dedicated to providing data center owners with maximally efficient and secure hardware decommissioning and destruction services. The Operations Lead is responsible for activities within the operations group, to provide direction and training, including, but not limited to, unloading and loading of trucks, moving and weighing pallets/equipment, sorting material, completing inventories, picking orders, fulfilling orders, auditing equipment, repairing equipment and the dismantling of material.
Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors
Provides leadership for one or more Warehouse Technician 1,2 or 3 and or Senior Warehouse Technicians
Provide training and job mentorship to team
Coach Senior Warehouse Technicians
Complete annual reviews for employees in their org with input from Senior Warehouse Technicians
Partner with Operations Manager to provide counseling and corrective action to employees
Possess and apply a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of WITS
Possess and apply a comprehensive working knowledge of Tera-Ware
Safely operate all tools needed in performing tasks at hand
Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Area
Ensure safety at all times
Ensure Security and customer brand protection at all times
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Management
Education and Qualifications
Mastery in multiple operational areas
Demonstrates leadership abilities and desire to grow with the organization
English, reading, writing and communication skills
High School or equivalent, degree
Performed Senior Warehouse Technician position or outside equivalent
Comprehensive knowledge of internet and data entry
Comprehensive knowledge of computer related equipment
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
Manual dexterity required for operating tools and equipment
