Warehouse Material Handler

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from the warehouse or production areas by hand or using fork lift, or other equipment.
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
• Prepare shipments
• Receive, count, inspect shipments and move to proper locations.
• Load outgoing and unload incoming shipments.
• Interact with vendors or shippers in a professional and safe manner.
• Transport hazardous material as needed.
• Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
• Conducts assembly process.
• Monitors inventory on a weekly basis.
• Other job duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous warehouse experience is required
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Must be able to drive a standup forklift as well as a standard sit-down forklift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
