Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the USA Warehouse Manager.
Menko Teleco LLC recently landed on American soil but has years of experience in selling on Amazon.
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including managing inventory, handling shipments, quality control on returns, and ensuring efficient stock management. Additionally, the Warehouse Manager will play a key role in managing contracts with vendors and starting new marketplaces.
The ideal candidate will initially have to be able to work independently, have a good sense of responsibility, is loyal and reliable, and have excellent communication abilities.
You will be part of our supply chain and work closely with our offices in China and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and organization to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
2. Forward Shipments:
- Coordinate outbound shipments, including picking, packing, and loading goods for delivery to customers or other locations.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to arrange transportation and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
3. Receive and Control Shipments:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and inspect goods for damage or defects.
- Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of received shipments and update inventory records accordingly.
4. Manage Contracts:
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues or discrepancies as needed.
5. Quality Control:
- Inspect and evaluate returned merchandise to determine quality and condition.
- Implement procedures for processing returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
6. Stock Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages or overages.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
7. Start New Marketplaces:
- Research and identify new marketplaces or distribution channels for expanding product reach.
- Develop strategies and plans for launching products in new marketplaces, including logistics, pricing, and promotional activities.
Skills:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
