JOB TITLE: Warehouse Management System (WMS) Business Analyst
CONTRACT to FULL-TIME
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Habitat Clothes Inc. is looking to add a superstar full-time Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst contributes in a lead role to the Executive Management team in the evaluation, design, development and implementation of standardized reporting, business processes and information system solutions. The Business Analyst will seek, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity while collaborating with Executive Management to identify business needs, analyze data, and recommend effective solutions to enhance overall business performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for Business Analyst:
· Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of status reports to all appropriate parties.
· Propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance.
· Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns and insights that can inform business decisions.
· Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand current business processes and future needs.
· Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and document effective and scalable solutions.
· Participate in project planning, tracking, and reporting.
· Take initiative to create reports using various software applications, gathering and managing data on progress and issues. These reports will be communicated to both development teams and Executive Management
· Ability to independently identify root cause of software program issues and use analysis and testing techniques to solve low to complex issues and to suggest solutions in a logical manner.
· Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful project delivery.
· Develop and execute test plans to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
· Ensuring ongoing maintenance and upgrades to the software post-development
· Supervising and directing the analysis, writing, building and deployment phases of software development
· Making modifications and conducting testing for changes to previously developed programs
· Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, supply chain, logistics, computer science or a related field.
· 3+ years of experience directly managing the key responsibilities listed above.
· Experience with the apparel industry a plus.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and a high level of understanding of Warehouse Management System WMS (preferably Deposco), WES (KPI/Autostore) ERP (RLM), Website (Kentico) and CRM (Zoho).
· Experience with Power Bi, Tableau, SQL, APIs, Java
· Ability to understand and implement lean methodology and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Ability to lead and maintain a safe work environment.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a small, very focused leadership team.
· Experience a plus in creating and updating various KPI reports for the leadership team.
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
· Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Experience a plus in assisting as a program developer
