1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Plus OT)
This position is responsible for supporting Operations, Managers, and Leads with daily required LMS and Payroll-reporting and other administrative duties. This position also provides assistance in ensuring accurate information is available for timely feedback and decision-making for DC Operations staff. The LMS Coordinator effectively and efficiently uses established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to complete assigned duties while meeting Vitamin Shoppe expectations.
Essential Functions: (The reason this job exists is to perform these functions. These functions are performed regularly, seriously impacts other jobs, and there are a limited number of employees whom performance of the function can be distributed).
Coordinate, prepare, maintain and troubleshoot daily, weekly, and monthly reports, and spreadsheets that support strategic business decisions.
- Generate reports and spreadsheets for Operations and Management altering query variables in order to generate more complex or ad hoc reports
- Troubleshoot, perform basic analysis, and make recommendations to fix/revise spreadsheet/reports to support management decisions
- Responsible for the timely preparation of documents such as:
- Daily metrics
- Daily stats
- Carton aging
- Pre-allocation percentage
- Daily and monthly employee performance
- Utilization tracking
Manage processes related to LMS and attendance
- Facilitate training of new Managers and Leads in relation to LM functionality
- Reconcile daily event gaps in LM system and work with Supervisors to resolve break discrepancies and check re-processed and duration reports
- Review call out log on a daily basis
- Assist with attendance record keeping
Manage the accuracy of LMS records within the Distribution Center
- Input data into the PIP tracker
- Notate observations and maintain records
Coordinate, manage, and participate in LM projects.
- Provide support to the Operations and Management Team on different projects
- Evaluate all project deliverables for content and quality
- Identify roadblocks that may impact deliverable dates and recommend alternative solutions
- Inform Direct Supervisor of any problems and actively participates in process improvements

Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
Required Knowledge: Strong knowledge of MA warehouse management systems
Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc and other computer applications as required by the position
Experience Required: 1-3 years of coordinator/administrative experience
Prior Manhattan WM/LM and Kronos experience is preferred
Skill and Ability: Excellent time management, organizational skills, and problem solving acumen
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of business partners
Ability to maintain a proactive and positive attitude and work collaboratively as part of a team
Ability to read and interpret documents and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Ability to multi-task with extreme attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to work overtime when required
Ability to learn the layout & operational processes of the Distribution Center
