Purpose and Essential Duties
The Warehouse Laborer / Delivery Driver is responsible for assisting the shipping/receiving clerk which includes but not limited to deliveries, cleanliness of the complex, grass-cutting, sweeping, and trash pick-up for the grounds of all the buildings.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Assisting with materials including the storage, receipt, and delivery of materials.
- Assisting with deliveries when necessary.
- All other duties as needed and assigned by the Operations Manager.
This position is Full-Time, Non-Exempt, and reports to the Operations Manager.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Travel Requirements
- Infrequent travel to Company or client locations.
Physical/Work Environment Requirements
- Medium work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate any and all lawn & garden equipment.
- Ability to operate any and all basic hand tools & machinery.
- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks.
- Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Work Environment will include exposure to external weather.
