BirdeBox LLC is a rapidly growing corporate gifting company that puts emphasis on being efficient, so we can deliver the best product to our customers each and every day. We are seeking a Kitting professional to join our team! This position would be responsible for the day-to-day Kitting Operations of all customer orders. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail and dead-line oriented, and able to manage multiple facets of the Kitting Operations simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
● Ensuring that all products are accounted for in each order.
● Quality control on every product to ensure 100% accuracy to the customers order by verifying products to the mockups and order lines in our WMS.
● Placing items in the BirdieBox as cautiously as possible, to prohibit any damage, while still making it look visually appealing.
● Uploading final product photos into our WMS communication log.
● Final quality control at the end of the kitting line to include cleaning all sides of the BirdieBox, placing order inside of poly bags.
● Selecting the correct shippers box per order to protect our DIM factor.
● Building the chosen shippers box, lining the box with bubble to prohibit outside damage, placing all orders inside and securely closing each box.
● Creating the shipping labels in our WMS for each respective order.
● Building pallets with completely packed orders and then placing them in their couriers staging area for daily evening pickups.
● Restocking all needed supplies for the kitting line daily.
● Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.
Requirements:
● Five or more years of proven work experience in a warehouse environment.
● Expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices.
● Must be aggressively detail and deadline-oriented.
● Ability to confidently take initiative in fast-paced environments.
● Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
● Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
● Strong decision making and problem-solving/communication skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
● Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.
