Warehouse Janitor

Nexeo HR is currently seeking dedicated and experienced Janitorial staff to join our team and contribute to the overall cleanliness and hygiene of our partner company's warehouse facility in Henderson (close to the M Resort). 3 MONTH CONTRACT (tentatively longer).

Responsibilities

•Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of warehouse floors and office areas.

•Empty and clean trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.

•Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies and maintaining cleanliness standards.

•Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to ensure they are free of smudges and stains.

•Maintain cleanliness of breakrooms, including cleaning tables, chairs, and appliances.

•Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored. Monitor and report any necessary repairs or replacements of cleaning equipment and tools.

•Adhere to safety protocols and use protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.

•Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.

•Follow all company policies and procedures, including security protocols, to maintain a secure and safe environment.

•Collaborate with other team members and departments as needed to ensure a clean and organized warehouse space.

Qualifications

•Previous experience in janitorial or custodial services preferred.

•Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and pressure washers.

•Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use and disposal.

•Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing cleaning needs.

•Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time to complete tasks within deadlines.

•Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

•Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Pay

$19.00 Per Hour

Schedule

6:00am – 5:00pm | Monday – Thursday

3 month contract (tentatively longer)
