Inventory Control
Job Description
Inventory:
Responsible for Warehouse Inventory maintenance and reconciliation.
Count furniture in the warehouse on a daily basis using a handheld scanner.
Research and reconcile daily inventory variances.
Prepare inventory tags for furniture in the warehouse and transfers to stores.
Compile various inventory reports for management.
Assist with inventory process and reconciliation for the store locations.
Review store transaction reports to identify and prevent possible inventory discrepancies.
Processing packages for daily UPS shipments / maintaining organization of UPS shipment area
Accurately scanning entire inventory of showroom floors
Coordinating with store management to correct inventory discrepancies / coaching
Compiling reports to calculate inventory changes
Assisting inventory specialists with Warehouse Inventory when needed
Other Responsibilities:
Responsible for completing any other activities/tasks requested by management relative to warehouse operations.
Traveling to the other store locations
Required Skills and Education:
Position requires excellent computer skills, including databases and spreadsheets
Position requires lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, stooping, and operating a lift.
Requires working in non-climate controlled environment
Must possess high school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation for travel to monthly store scans (minimum three travel days a month)
Attention to detail
Ability to train on stock pickers
