Job Title: 2nd Shift - Warehouse Inventory

Dept: 1792 Newlon Warehouse

Shift Time: 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Pay Rate: $ 16.50 per hour

Summary Aides in the verification of product received, stored or shipped by performing the following duties.


Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Establish the delivery location.
  • Inspecting STO’s /Transfer to ensure they match order.
  • Examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and communicates issues with plants.
  • Comparing STO orders with plants BOL lists.
  • Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
  • Updating inventory with received items.
  • Keys information into computer /SAP WM
  • Communicating with Ok Foods Procurement and vendors regarding delays or problems with STO’s.
  • Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.

Education and/or Experience


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills


Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.


Mathematical Skills


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Reasoning Ability


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
