We are growing and have immediate need to hire an additional Warehouse Pick/Pack Associate (40 hours/week) with potential for growth and additional responsibilities in ourMilford, CT facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
HVAC Programming:
- Attention to detail
- Process focused
- Hands on mechanical skills, use of power and manual tools
- Meet daily programming schedule
- Operation of fork trucks
Warehouse:
- Unload, check in, receive, and put away product
- Pick and pack product for shipment to contractors
- Perform cycle counting and stock verification
- Transfer product between inventory business units based on set of guidelines
- Storing, cutting, packing, loading for shipment
- Receiving, building, shipping Kits/BOMS
- Following safety techniques and participation in safety programs
- Meeting productivity standards and ensuring accuracy of work to ensure set standards for inventory accuracy
- Material Tracking for receiving, item look up and inventory functions, Shipping Manifesting system.
- Operation of pallet jacks, fork trucks, lift trucks, reach trucks, order pickers
Required skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification to operate forklifts (ex: OSHA in the US)
- Experience working with heavy machinery
- Strong abilities in mechanical testing and implementation
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and perform heavy lifting on a consistent basis
- Must be detail-oriented for quality purposes – batch numbers, part numbers, product locations.
- Reliable transportation
- Able to lift to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift
- Meet all regular hours and overtime hours as needed.
- Be able to take direction well.
- Meet inventory accuracy standards.
- Motivated to work.
- Understand and meet all safety standards.
- English proficiency is required to operate safely and efficiently
Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
