Warehouse Helper Responsibilities:
- Unload/Load Install Trucks.
- Verify delivery information on deliveries to equipment/part orders for installs and repairs to ensure out-going shipments are complete.
- Moving all inbound shipments safely to appropriate location in the warehouse.
- Responsible for pulling and staging equipment for next day installs
- Pick up parts from part houses
- Take parts to service techs/installers
- Keep accurate inventory records and reports. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Maintain clean, neat, and organized work area
- Assist HVAC, plumbing and electrical technicians as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Warehouse Helper Skills & Requirements:
None! "Entry-Level" means you don't have to have experience, just the right aptitude, and attitude.
- You should be good at working with your hands.
- You should work well with colleagues and customers.
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and approved to drive by Company’s insurance carrier.
Physical Requirements
The position requires a considerable amount of physical activity including walking, standing for lengthy periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, squatting/kneeling, and reaching/grasping. An equal amount of time spent indoors and outdoors with exposure to hot or cold temperatures for one or more hours.
