Warehouse General Laborer Fork Lift Driver - URGENTLY HIRING

LOCATION: 6714 E North Belt Road, Las Vegas, NV 89115
Hiring several full time permanent positions must be able to start working on Monday - March 11, 2024. Overtime and weekend work may be required. Work hours 7 am to 5pm.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regularly operates material handling equipment to move materials around a warehouse, storage area or shipping area. Receives, stocks/stores and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Regularly operates forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move furnishings/products/merchandise, equipment, or materials.
Reads schedules, orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, shipped, gathered, distributed or staged for further handling.
Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met and that damaged merchandise is identified and noted.
Maintain records associated with operating a forklift.
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and merchandise records.
Sort and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Will be required to assist with shipping, receiving, loading or unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing for processing.
Required to assist with warehouse organization to maintain safety and orderliness at all times.
Must wear and follow all safety protocols established by State, Federal and company guidelines
Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Forklift Operator certification preferred
Ability to perform work independently or as a team to successfully complete the duties of the job satisfactorily.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals with attention to detail.
Three (3) months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move heavy weight items in excess of 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
