Job Description

Core Competencies

· Sort orders coming off the table into the appropriate container/packaging for the next process.

· Run parts through the Roto Blaster

· Determine the grade of material and paint the end the corresponding colour

Tasks

· Operating overhead cranes and forklifts Inspect equipment and product for integrity and safety, report any anomalous conditions.

· Maintain a clean workstation and production floor

· Follow production guidelines

· Operating machinery and production line equipment

· Performing other tasks as assigned

Physical Demands

· Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling

· Clear verbal communication

· Frequently Use hands and fingers to handle or feel

· Reach with hands and arms

· Climb or balance

· Regularly Stand; Walk

· Ability to lift up to 75lbs

Ability to read measurements to 1/16th of an inch.

Vision

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision; Distance vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception; Ability to adjust focus;

Work Environment

Qualifications:

• High school/GED
• Prior mechanical experience or mechanically inclined
• Ability to stand for long perios
• Understand units of measurement
• Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently
