Warehouse Fulfillment Lead

Hours: 40 Hours | First Shift - 8:00am - 5:00pm | Weekends as needed

This is a “hands-on”, lead position. The candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and packing outbound finished goods, and moving goods throughout the warehouse.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• 2 years warehouse experience including order fulfilment and material handling duties
• Ability and experience driving a forklift
• High School diploma required or GED
• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to solve problems in the moment
• Experience working in fast moving environments with changing priorities
• Must be very organized
• Have some proficiency with software tools such as MS Office, shipping platforms, and inventory management systems
• Comfortable working in warm, cool, and/or dry environments
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Sufficient hearing and vision necessary to operate powered equipment safely
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods of time
• Manage and administer periodic cycle counts and physical inventories- maintain records

Key Responsibilities:

Pick/Pack Order Fulfilment duties

• Pick items necessary for order fulfilment
• Transport picked materials to pack station for shipping
• Package orders for shipment, per company standards
• Prep order batches for daily pickups
• Aid in identifying possible order entry errors

Shipment Processing Duties

• Print daily orders and shipping documents
• Collect and audit shipping paperwork as needed
• Prepare international export, and other shipping documentation as required.
• Maintain records of incoming deliveries and outbound pickups
• Use shipping software/platforms and internet resources to receive and send emails, and research shipping and receiving errors.
• Respond to inquiries about packages, including communicating shipment specifications, performing order reconciliation, order confirmation, correction of errors, etc
• Schedule flexibility during higher order volume periods throughout the year
• Open and close warehouse

Inventory Management Duties

• Perform physical inventory check and report stock levels
• Restock materials as needed
• Familiarity with basic inventory control and inventory management functions
• Monitor packaging supplies inventory levels. Produce re-order requests for company ownership
• Inventory returns process, returned inventory disposition

Material Handling Duties

• Efficiently move product throughout warehouse using manual and powered material handling equipment including pallet jack, stacker, and/or forklift, as needed
• Safely unload and load inbound and outbound shipments
• Rearrange warehouse stock for efficient warehouse use, as needed

Additional Duties

• Participate in department meetings and training's as required
• Comply with OSHA, MSDS Standards, and other safety regulations, to assist in maintaining the safety and security of the warehouse
• Manage Maintenance and service activities for all material handling equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Opportunities for advancement

• For a successfully performing candidate, opportunities for advancement would eventually include transition to Warehouse Lead duties such as training other warehouse staff, assigning work to Part-Time Warehouse Associates, and identifying ways to improve the operational efficiency of the warehouse

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
