This position is a Night Shift 12-hr position working 7pm - 7am. The Forklift Operator performs general warehouse duties, including: shipping/receiving, packaging orders, processing orders, and stocking and re-shelving merchandise
The Forklift Operator performs a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
- Shipping and receiving of raw material and finished product
- Moving products, material, and equipment throughout the facility
- Conducts material audits
- Utilizes scanning equipment and computers for finished goods
- Works at finished goods palletizer
- Loads trucks direct from the line with finished goods
- Responsible to recognize, address and escalate all quality issues to supervisor and team members
- Follow safety regulations and maintains compliance of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Complies with all applicable food laws, regulations, and food safety requirements
- Performs related duties as assigned or required
The ideal candidate for this role will have 5+ years experience as a Forklift Operator working in a fast pace food manufacturing environment. Attention to detail and a safety mindset is critical in this role.
MinimumQualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years of forklift experience.
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Experience withSAP
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
