Warehouse Foreman/Supervisor

Position Overview:

As the Warehouse Foreman/Supervisor at Green Mile Logistics, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to safety protocols, and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

· Manage and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, and order picking, packing, and shipping.

· Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.

· Ensure accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and timely system updates.

· Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, operations, and procurement, to ensure seamless coordination and order fulfillment.

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment, enforcing adherence to safety regulations and best practices.

· Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.

· Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment, ensuring proper functionality and timely repairs.

· Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries of goods.

· Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in warehouse management.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.

· Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor, foreman, or in a similar leadership role.

· Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.

· Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.

· A commitment to promoting sustainable practices and reducing carbon emissions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,177.72 - $45,977.47 per year
