POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Warehouse & Distribution Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the receipt, storage, security, and issuance of all materials and supplies from the operating inventory within a specified area. The individual in this job role is responsible for all necessary documentation, inventory control, and physical inventory procedures pertaining to the inventory stock.
Key Accountabilities
Essential Functions
- Operates warehouse inventory control system in order to maintain the inventory for the area.
- Responsible for the physical control of inventory per Management’s instructions.
- Ensures that all inventory transactions are recorded and documented to protect against pilferage and loss.
- Responsible for keeping the inventory area locked at all times.
- Receives, checks and records shipments of operating supplies and materials to verify accuracy of shipments in accordance
- with shipping instructions.
- Responsible for conducting weekly physical inventories and submitting results to the Operations.
- Superintendents to determine re-order quantities.
- Retrieves, records, and distributes supplies and materials as requisitioned by the Rig Supervisors and approved by the
- Operations Superintendents.
- Continually emphasize safety. Participate or lead safety meetings, hazard hunts and ensures JSA’s are followed.
- Know, follow and periodically review the requirements established by job policy and procedure. Follow established
- procedures and guidelines.
- Report unsafe acts, conditions or hazards immediately.
- Follow instructions given by supervisory personnel.
- Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisor.
Knowledge/Skill/Ability
- Knowledge of well-servicing and drilling materials and equipment.
- Working knowledge of inventory control practices and principles.
- Must possess organizational skills as required for completing alpha and numerical file maintenance.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Must have the knowledge and ability to operate a forklift.
Ability to understand and speak English at a level of proficiency allowing employee to issue, receive and respond to both safety and operations-related directions in English
