Essential Duties and Responsibilities
70%Inventory:
- Enter correct data into the Nav/CERES system to track food through the system
- Leading the Inventory Cycle count and audit processes
- Supporting the Receiving and staging (including bin management) processes
- Ensure Receiving to Inventory is entered within 2 business days or less
- Manage and track all Food Waste
- Oversee off-site storage to manage unloading and loading of products.
- Manage the Order to pick ticket process
20% Manual Labor:
Move food product by lifting to 50 pounds and operating powered material handling equipment to move pallets weighing up to 2k pounds to load and unload orders and move product to appropriate storage areas at varying heights.
- Load Trucks & adjust routing if needed.
- Drive Non-CDL trucks as requested (DOT Health card required).
10% Administration:
- Aid in ensuring processing timely payments to vendors; audit invoices, code appropriately, and advance to AP for payment issuance
- Acting as a liaison for service vendors, contractors, and suppliers
- Act as a backup keyholder
- Participate in directing the efforts of staff, volunteers, donors, and vendors, and assist in expediting their efforts to ensure optimization.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment with a Warehouse Management System is required. The ability to read, write, and speak English is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift and other Material Handling Equipment required.
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
