Warehouse Cargo Screener (1700-0000 M-F) (J130010)

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Screener. As a Screener, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facility. This position requires excellent conflict management skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Duties:
- Conduct screenings of individuals entering the facility, following established protocols and procedures
- Use screening tools and equipment to detect prohibited items or substances
- Communicate effectively with individuals being screened, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns or questions
- Maintain accurate records of screening activities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective screening operations
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong conflict management skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to established protocols
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
- Valid driver's license or government-issued identification

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security or screening roles
- Aviation Security Certificate

Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
