Warehouse Attendant - Purchasing - Omaha, Ne

Turner Industries Group is looking for a first shift Warehouse Attendant - Purchasing in the Omaha, NE area. This position is responsible for accurate and timely entry of complex technical orders, coordination with other departments as necessary to fulfill customer special requirements, and the creation of shipping documents and compiling weekly reports for site management.
The ideal candidate will have:

• At least one years' experience in shipping is preferred; Previous experience in dispatch, warehousing, or transportation is a plus.

• Great interpersonal & written communication skills

• Advanced microcomputer application skills (MS Office Advanced User)

• Advanced organization and planning skills

Specific job duties include:

• Communicate effectively with Stores supervisor
• Maintain physical inventories
• Kit work orders
• Pull items from shelves based on customer orders
• Perform cycle counts as requested
• Maintain 5S standards and general housekeeping
• Use CMMS program effectively
• Counter help with part request(s)
• Look up parts
• Quote verification
• Create part numbers in SAP
• Create PO in SAP
• Change locations in SAP
• Edit SAP Part Numbers
• Generate Purchase order reports
• Generate Past due PO reports
• Restock front of stores
• Set up Capital spares
• Enter data from Cycle Counts and perform cycle counts
• Move Work orders to proper place in SAP when parts arrive
• Set up Outline agreements
• Be able to manage workflow in SAP
• BOM creation
• Any job duties as requested/required

Knowledge, experience, and capabilites:

• Microsoft Suite experience
• SAP CMMS experience
• Forklift certification
• Customer service skills

Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Must be able to climb ladders, turn wrenches and routinely carry up to 50 lbs.

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, may include some weekends
• Occasional Overtime during the busy season
• Must have valid driver's license
• Mandatory Background Check & Drug Testing

Per diem and relocation are not available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in the Omaha, NE area.
