Job Summary:
Chesley Commercial Fence & Rail is actively seeking to hire an experienced Fabricator/Warehouse Assistant. If you are a talented welder and/or fabricator and are great at inventory and organization, we would love to have you on our team. Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace
- Loading and unloading supplies
- Prepare assembly by locating materials required for projects
- Cut pipe to specified lengths using cutting tools
- Fabricate gate per design specifications using hand tools
- Operate simple machines to assemble chain link fence gates
- Drive a skid steer to move material and help the team
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- 1+ years of related experience using hand or power tools
- Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 75lbs.)
- Ability to communicate verbally, read, write and perform basic math functions
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $18-$24 per hour starting pay - based on experience
