Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver

Overview:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for operating a Straight Truck to deliver to customers as well as Johnstone Supply locations.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Responsibilities:

· Safely operate a 26' Box Truck

· No CDL Requirements

· Effective team player with good communication skills that is proactive, positive, conscientious, organized and efficient.

· Must be able to multi-task, prioritize workload, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

· Communicates well verbally and in writing, in English, and in a professional manner.

· Capable of representing Johnstone Supply in a respectable and professional manner.

· Professional and courteous demeanor when working with customers and colleagues.

· Works in various warehouse roles as instructed by manager.

Job-Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Familiar with GPS software and possess knowledge of your territories’ geography.

· Ability to read, write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.

· Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software.

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.

• Must be able to work overtime when required.

Education and Experience:

Required:

· High School Diploma or G.E.D and minimum of 2 years experience driving a truck.

• Driver’s license with clean driving record.

Preferred:

· Certification to ride forklift truck preferred.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
