House of Sillage is seeking a passionate, team-minded Warehouse Associatethat stands above and beyond their peers, one who can appreciate the quality of the process and a great end product for our Customers. This individual will be responsible for orders at all stages of order fulfilment process, ensuring customer expectations are met. This includes but it not limited to picking and packing, shipping, and assisting throughout the Warehouse as needed. The Associate is also responsible for assisting with the quality control process, ensuring all products meet benchmark standards. Warehouse Associate Job Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack and ship all e-commerce orders, specifically Shopify based
- Utilize Shipstation software for both UPS and FedEx domestic orders
- Inspect and Quality Control products as directed
- Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and inspect goods for damages or discrepancies. Accurately record and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain organized inventory storage areas. Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels, conduct regular counts, and assist in the reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Communicate with Customer Service Department when needed to assist with Customer issues
- Obtain and maintain Dangerous Goods Certification
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including cleaning and organizing work areas, restocking shelves, and supporting other team members.
Warehouse Associate Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, up to 25 pounds.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
