Below are some details about the position. We are interested in both entry-level receiving associates and more established professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily execution of the 5 Stages of Receiving:
- Stage 1: Unload & Register (Register Receiving Event in WMS)
- Stage 2: Sort & Count
- Stage 3: Exception Resolution & Re-work
- Stage 4: Check-In
- Stage 5: Finalize & Close
- Material handling/movement throughout the facility including the distribution of all incoming materials to the appropriate area (office, returns, etc).
- Use of manual material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain industry-leading accuracy by inputting, validating, and/or refining product data during the receiving process.
- Inputting data, photos, and documents into WMS and/or Project Management software.
- Cross-training for other areas of Warehouse Operations.
- Identifying exceptions and escalating as appropriate.
- Engaging in internal communication channels, including initiating and responding to returns-related subject matter.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
KPIs:
- Receiving SLA (Service Level Agreement) - This metric measures how long it takes us to process a receiving event from the point of receipt in our warehouse to its completion, and whether or not that amount of time is within or outside our customer agreement.
- Item Data Integrity Success Rate - This metric tells us how effective the receiving process is for ensuring items come into our system with all appropriate information.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to handle warehouse operations and equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Work Environment:
The role is part of the Warehouse Operations Team, which operates in a cross-functional manner. This means there are times when people move to different areas of warehouse operations to meet demands, including Receiving, Assembly, Storage, and Material Handling.

This role reports to the Warehousing Supervisor

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
