Job Description
Warehouse Associate - Wednesday 12pm-5pm, Thur-Fri 7am-5pm
Key Job Elements:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for organizing and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and movements within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
The following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities that are expected of the Warehouse Associate position; however, additional duties may be assigned, as required.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup per schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Complete diary logs into inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Current forklift license
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, move, and handle up to 50 pounds in all directions.
- Ability to stand and walk for an extended period.
