Warehouse Associate

Position Summary

Under the direction of local leadership, this full-time position will be responsible for completing tasks that support production and warehouse functions. This position will be tracking and managing assets, in addition they will be responsible for ensuring that equipment is maintained and repaired.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist and preform various jobs/projects in the facility to meet operation needs such as sweep, empty trash and/or other projects as assigned.
• Move product in the warehouse area to ensure inventory levels are correct for operations.
• Pick and pack product, tools, and/or equipment to meet internal and/or external Customer orders.
• Demonstrate a continual effort to streamline work processes and work cooperatively with other departments to provide a quality and seamless operation.
• Work with members of a team and/or department to effectively complete work assignment as assigned.
• Able to listen, retain, and execute directions as given by local leadership.
• Observe all company, state and federal safety policies and procedures; observes and follows all company (operational) policies and procedures.
• Expected to keep a safe and clean work area.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area; Observe all company, local, and federal safety rules, location and company best practices, and company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Exposure to warehouse environment (able to stand for long periods of time, able to move product as required).
• Skills with tools and machinery is preferred, position would require warehouse management of tools, equipment, and general assets.
• Able to understand assignment and complete assignment accurately and efficiently
• Knowledge of various industry standards such as: OSHA
• Must be safety, customer, and team focused
• Good aptitude for problem solving; Good communication, computer, and time management skills
• Able to effectively problem solve.
• Computer skills for data entry, looking up information, and/or creating reports.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and OneDrive.
• Able to communicate oral and written communication skills; follow directions-written direction, oral direction, reading work orders and/or specs as assigned; work in a team environment and communicate with team, various departments, and/or Customers as business needs dictate.
• Customer Focused-able to meet deadlines, work on multiple projects, and produce a quality work product
• For positions that utilize a company vehicle, will be required to have a valid driver’s license.

Additional Information

Compensation: $20-30 depending on experience.

Physical Demands: Lifting and/or pushing/pulling a minimum of 50lbs on a daily basis.
