About the Opportunity:
∙ Job Title:Warehouse Associate
∙ Pay: $22/Hour
∙ Location: Big Lake, MN
∙ Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM.
Daily functions:
- Assist in managing daily order activity within our systems to ensure shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. Goal is to ship 99% of orders within 24 hours.
- Communicate with drivers to ensure efficient scheduling of pick up, and delivery of packages.
- Palletize shipments, fill out necessary paperwork including bill of lading and export documents, and schedule truck shipments and deliveries with carriers.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Department in maintaining adequate inventory levels to never run short. This will require periodic cycle counts and occasionally a wall-to-wall inventory to keep the systems as accurate as possible.
- Ensure we maintain an adequate supply of shipping supplies i.e., cartons, tape, and miscellaneous supplies.
- Will be required to properly package and label shipments for UPS, FedEx, and various other carriers, ensuring compliance with minimal damage and/or loss while in transit.
- Learn and apply creative techniques of engraving products according to customer and system specifications.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Desired qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service experience or administrative experience.
Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Standing, walking, sitting for long durations of time.
- Use hands and fingers to operate keyboards, hand tools like tape guns and such.
