SUMMARY: Demonstrate Christ-like behavior and attitude in all job duties and respond pleasantly to incoming donors, vendors and volunteers by providing excellent customer service. Provides operational support to the GIK/Warehouse Department by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Receives purchased products and donations into the warehouse, recording specified information for all incoming inventory.

· Greets vendors, donors, and volunteers with a welcoming and service-oriented attitude.

· Provides daily upkeep of the warehouse aisles by consolidating and repalletizing products as they are used, making space for new products to come in.

· Performing cycled inventory counts on all existing inventory.

· Receives donations and receipts as necessary.

· Assists in the sorting and inventorying of incoming donations and shipments.

· On periodic, scheduled occasions, checks expiration dates of perishable products and notifies the Warehouse Manager prior to their expiration.

· Adheres to all warehouse procedures for reporting and completing paperwork.

· Prepares outbound orders for distribution by palletizing, shrink wrapping, and completing BOLs.

· Assists in loading and unloading products from trucks dropping off.

· Assists in pulling inventory to fulfill department GIK requests.

· Responsible for pulling inventory needed to assemble boxes and bags for programs such as Race to Feed, LAM weekly food bags, and hygiene kits.

· Pays extreme attention to detail and strives to be as accurate as possible in inventory counting.

· Maintains a log of periodic cleanliness checks for all bathrooms and floors.

· Maintain the grounds around the warehouse, rinsing concrete and pulling weeds as needed.

· Notifies the Warehouse Manager when supplies need to be (re)ordered.

· Ability to fill in as a driver if the need arises.

· Performs other duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
