Warehouse Associate/ Driver
Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate / Driver you will be responsible for both warehouse operations and transportation of goods. This multifaceted role involves managing inventory, handling shipments, driving company vehicles to deliver parcels, and assisting with general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Warehouse Duties:
Complete daily and weekly operational tasks, including managing inventory and processing shipments.
Assist in packaging e-commerce orders, including Amazon shipments and store transfers.
Prepare orders by processing requests accurately and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse by organizing shelves, check-in areas, and workstations.
Assist in checking in and cleaning rental return instruments.
Utilize UVC Chamber as required for instrument maintenance.
Ensure quality control of rental instruments through proper packaging and inspection.
Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
Driving Responsibilities:
Plan and execute an efficient delivery and pick-up route for the day.
Load delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.
Safely operate company vehicles to deliver parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
Pick up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, instrument repairs, internal transfer request packages and other items as requested.
Maintain basic records of mileage and deliveries made.
Ensure that the delivery vehicle receives basic service according to the maintenance schedule; report larger service needs and mechanical issues to the supervisor.
Assist in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to drive safely and efficiently.
Familiarity with navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
Ability to plan delivery routes.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
Professionalism and courtesy in interactions with co-workers and customers.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly with some packages weighing more.
Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies or liftgates
