At the end of 2022, Atlantic International Food Group or “AIFG” expanded into the frozen goods sector by opening its first freezer storage facility in Stroudsburg, PA. AIFG headquartered in Edison, NJ, is a leading specialty importer and distributor of both perishable and non-perishable food and beverage products.

As a redistributor, the Company provides a strategic service for both food manufacturers and distributors to effectively manage inventory while continuing to meet the needs of their customers. With over 2,300 SKUs of third-party and proprietary products, AIFG serves more than 500 customers across the U.S.

Responsibilities:

- Operate various types of equipment including swing reach, forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials within the warehouse

- Assist with order picking, staging, shipping and receiving duties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries

- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers

- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders efficiently

- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment

- Collaborate with warehouse manager to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in materials handling, shipping, receiving, and warehouse

- Familiarity with distribution center operations and procedures

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks requiring strength and endurance

- Proficiency in operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

- Knowledge of basic math for inventory counting and order verification

- Skill in equipment repair and maintenance is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
