Job Description: Warehouse Associate

Position Overview: As a Warehouse Associate, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. You will be involved in various tasks related to unloading, storing, organizing, quality control, inventory counting, packing, and keeping the warehouse clean. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Warehouse Associate duties and responsibilities

• Receiving and quality control:

unload containers, sort, and palletize product.

verify contents against containers manifest or purchase orders.

inspect product unloaded record and report any issues or discrepancies.

put away product ready to sale.

• Inventory control:

Ensure accurate inventory by performing regular cycle counts and organize and maintain warehouse storage areas.

Ensure products are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.

Assist in inventory control activities such as put away and restocking.

• Order Fulfillment and FBA shipments:

Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently based on orders/shipments.

Freight shipping (loading and wrapping pallets).

Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging materials.

• Equipment Operation:

Safely operate warehouse equipment such as_ forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry picker_.

Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.

• Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.

Follow company guidelines and local regulations for proper handling and storage of products.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse to prevent accidents or hazards.

• Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other relevant documentation.

Generate reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and other warehouse metrics as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer services experience preferred but not required
• Prior experience in a warehouse preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and

pallet jacks

• Able to lift to 75 lbs. and carry 50 lbs. 100 yards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory
• Basic computer skills
• Able to be on you feet for long hours
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal

supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

• 8-hour shift/day from Monday to Friday

Pay: $19 - $20 an hour
