About the Position

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. Our goal is to promote an energetic team-based work environment. You will play an essential role on our team, supporting our warehouse operations. Your ability to move to the work and ensure efficiency will make you successful. On a given day you will pick, pack, ship, and do some heavy lifting. We may ask you to assist with inventory management duties (material returns, scrapping) and tag shelved items to name a few. Micro-Tech utilizes SAP, an Enterprise Resource Planning software, for our Warehouse Management System. We are a company heavily committed to quality. When receiving and shipping materials, we leverage an extensive inspection process, aligned with our Quality systems.

As part of your training, you will be rotated though shipping, receiving, and inventory functions before being assigned to a department.

Position Responsibilities

Shipping –

• Utilizing scanners to pick, pack, and ship products within SAP.
• Order fulfillment and inspection of direct orders to customers.

Receiving –

• Receiving and inspecting products by utilizing scanners/SAP.
• Order receiving and inspection of supplier orders and internal transfers.

Inventory –

• Record movements and adjustments by utilizing scanners/SAP.
• Transfer product between bins and report scrap material.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have general computer skills and be enthusiastic about learning new systems/software.
• A willingness and enthusiasm to learn and contribute to the team.
• Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, dollies, and ladders).
• Desire to contribute to a team culture of success.
• Care about working safely and encourage others to do so.

Essential Functions:

• Be comfortable using a forward descent ladder to pick and pull inventory.
• Be able to repetitively reach, bend, pull, and push and leverage a range of motion.
• Be able to lift 50lbs or greater.
• Be flexible on schedule availability.
• Walk extensively through the warehouse while carrying materials.
• Care about working safely and encourage others to do so.
