WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
Our team in Oklahoma City currently has an opening for a Warehouse Associate
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary:
This position participates in all aspects of material handling warehouse operations. Under the guidance of the site supervisor, this role is responsible for moving, transferring, loading and unloading all packaged goods. This position reports directly to the site supervisor. This position is expected to operate within the core values of Brenntag that include safety, product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Job Description:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Complete diary logs into inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
- High school degree
- Proven warehouse experience.
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Forklift and Pallet Jack experience preferred
